Dr. Abhra Chowdhury
Rheumatology is a relatively newer subspecialty of medicine. The burden of rheumatic diseases is huge and often they lead to disability or mortality at a relatively young age. Awareness about management of rheumatic diseases is lacking amongst patients as well as general physicians. My goal is to develop this speciality in West Bengal and to improve the management of patients with rheumatic diseases.

I have been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis more than 10+ years back. And visited many doctors related to these problem in different parts of India as and where I was posted. Experience with couple of doctors are very good. Dr. Abhra Chowdhury will be among them. Dr. Chowdhury's advice has helped me a lot to improve my daily living conditions. Most important part I liked about Dr. Chowdhury is his interactions with the patient. He explained all my queries very clearly. Helped me understand what I was doing wrong for past 2-3 years. He prescribed only one medicine for me. Overall my experience with Dr. Chowdhury is very good. Thanks to Dr. Chowdhury and his team.
